Maintenance Engineer

Based in the Cookstown area my client is one of the top brands and best employers in Northern Ireland. Due to the huge expansion of their factory they are currently recruiting additional Maintenance Engineers. This is a great opportunity to join a business who is investing in the best machinery and work environment possible. They offer guaranteed secure long-term employment and have recently been rated by a survey taken by existing staff members as an excellent company to work for. Salary is £49,000, 6% pension, private healthcare and death in service 4 times your salary. The shift pattern is 3 days on 3 days off then 3 nights on 3 nights off with the option of starting at 6am or 7am.

Role – Maintenance Engineer

· Optimise the performance of all machinery, plant, buildings and services through effective engineering, to minimise machine down time and optimise OEE.

· Work alongside production colleagues to optimise process set up and control system configurations so as to achieve maximum yield and process control performance

· Develop and work on effective preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, responding timely and proactively to plant and equipment faults.

· Through structured continuous improvement devise initiatives to increase efficiencies and reduce costs and implement engineering projects as appropriate

· Support the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.

· Provide rapid efficient response to reactive maintenance minimising downtime

Person – Maintenance Engineer

· If you are interested in applying you must be a time served electrician with mechanical experience working in a manufacturing environment or a Mechatrician with experience working in a manufacturing environment.
