VANRATH are currently working with a leading FMCG business in the Belfast who are currently recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, the Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for reporting of monthly results and analysis, and contribute to the rolling estimate and business planning forecasting process. This would be the ideal role for an individual with strong Excel skills with the ability to work on own initiative. Individuals with experience of distribution or manufacturing would be preferred however other industries will be consider, with proven strong reporting experience.

**Initially this is an interim contract for a period of 12 months, due to future plans within the department, there is potential that this can become a permanent post**

About you

• Fully Qualified Accountant with 2+ years PQE
• Strong MS Excel capabilities
• Excellent analytical skills
• Desire for progression
• FMCG experience (Desirable)

What you’ll do

• Support in delivering month end reporting
• Financial analysis and appraisal of pricing & discounts
• Commercial planning and budgeting processes
• Support commercial teams in preparing monthly review meetings
• Drive continuous improvement
• Assist with balance sheet and working capital planning and analysis
