Our client is a leading manufacturing business based on the north side of Belfast. They boast a strong local finance team and are cutting edge in terms of technology and commerciality.
Reporting into a very experienced Financial Controller this exciting role will include both financial reporting and management accounts for the business so we are pleased to say it will be a nice varied role. The business offers a 9-5 working environment and excellent benefits. · Review and improve the completeness of all Finance processes and help develop the profitability reporting with suggestions on improvements
· Prepare full monthly accounts including Balance Sheet and P&L month end close
· Assist with budget process and business planning
· Assist with year end audit liaison to help with smooth year end close
· Work closely with the FC and local leadership team in providing decision support
· Strong IT skills especially Excel are really important in this commercial role
· Ideally 3 years post qualification
· Great communication and a can do attitude
· Previous payroll experience and VAT would be advantageous
