McAtamney's Butchers

We are a family run business with our head office based in Garvagh.  From humble beginnings 75 years ago, we now have 12 shops across the province employing over 100 fully trained master butchers.

We take pride in what we do which is why we don’t like to rush things - we’ve grown one shop at a time.  We take time to choose only the highest quality of meat for our customers.  Our chefs source the finest ingredients for our extensive range of ready meals prepared in our Gourmet Kitchen in Portglenone. 

We are good at what we do and are consistently judged to have excellent customer service and friendly helpful staff.  We’ve won lots of awards such as Butchers Shop of the Year 2016, Butchers of the Year 2013 and Belfast Telegraph Business Award for most progressive and compelling retail outlet.  Our food is great too, with Great Taste Awards for our steak pie and Sirloin steak.

We don’t intend to stand still: we will continue to develop and grow the business at a pace that is right, never compromising on quality or service.
