Salary: £24k to £30k per annum depending on experience

About The Role
The Role
The Sales Advisor will have responsibility for selling a wide range of our products which include Carpets & Rugs, Upholstery, Beds and Bedroom Furniture.
The Person
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the store layout, products, stock availability and product knowledge so that they can give a thorough description of each specific product and in addition cross sell or upsell. Be motivated with a drive and determination to succeed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. A pride in your work that the store is kept in a presentable and tidy manner.
A thorough knowledge of service standards is a requirement. Must be punctual, accurate and be able to work under their own initiative. Co-operate with colleagues to ensure the best possible service.
Treating every customer with respect, and give them individual care and attention. Professional with dealing with customers at all times. Dealing with any customer complaints or problems in a timely manner and to report them to a member of management.
Required Criteria
- Previous experience of working in a sales role.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as an accountable team member
- Excellent time management ability
- A passion for customer service
- Flexibility is required as hours will include working Saturdays and bank holidays to ensure business needs are met.
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience of working in a similar retail environment.
- Cash handling experience
