Personal Assistant to Director - Northern Ireland (18781)
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Northern Ireland Children's Services Region. We are looking for a Personal Assistant to the Director Children's Services of Barnardo's Northern Ireland, Michele Janes.

This role needs you to be highly organised, flexible with great communication skills, superb time management and the ability to work confidentially. Your activities will include:
- diary management
- travel booking in the most efficient way
- setting up meetings, venues, agendas, taking notes and disseminating them
- maintain a clear and logical filing system
- undertake basic projects for the Regional Director and wider regional management team
- managing a small team of administrators
- draft reports and other written documents
- be a conduit for information sharing and the first point of contact for the office of the Director Children's Services

Essential Criteria
- Successful experience of working as a personal assistant/admin support to senior management
- Demonstrable experience of appropriate handling of confidential or sensitive information
- Fully computer literate including the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
- Experience of managing others
- Highly organised and capable of maintaining efficient systems
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of project management
- Demonstrable experience of using a range of management information systems - Barnardo's use D365
For this post there will be an expectation to be based within the Northern Ireland region and have the ability to travel on occasion as is required.
Location: NI Regional Office. Hybrid working can be negotiated
Hours: 36.25 per week
Salary: £26,520 - £32,604
