Telephonist/ Switchboard Operator immediately required for a 3 Month temporary post with the Ulster Hospital Dundonald.
The post will be to work on the Busy Main Switchboard on a Shift Pattern which will include 2pm to 10pm and 4pm to 10pm. ( 30-37 Hours Weekly) This will include work on Weekends and Bank Holidays. An ability to work other shifts may be required. Full Training will be given in the role however experience on working in a similar role is preferred. Hourly rate £11.67 Monday To Friday . Weekend rate £19.11 per hour
Applicants must be able to start work within one week.
You will be responsible for transferring calls to the appropriate departments, monitoring alarms in various sites and maintaining and updating the electronic internal telephone directory. Have the ability to work in a demanding environment.
What we need from you:
To be able to work in a pressurised switchboard.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Customer service skills
Knowledge of switchboards and phone systems.
