Energy Policy Officer
Salary: £29,258 to £29,859

The Consumer Council is recruiting for an Energy Policy Officer, to join our Infrastructure & Sustainability Directorate.
Working within the Energy Policy team you will play an important role in the delivery of the Consumer Council’s energy work programme that includes activities relating to decarbonisation, consumer protection and fuel poverty.
The post holder will:
- Contribute to the delivery of the annual programme of work within the Energy Policy team.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a collaborative working relationship within the Consumer Council and with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Manage individual projects.
- Contribute to producing robust evidence so that credible policy recommendations can be made to stakeholders.
- Help track policy recommendations to improve consumer outcomes.
The individual will work as part of the team to ensure that the organisation delivers against its mission, values and the strategic framework of the Infrastructure & Sustainability directorate.
