COMMUNITY groups are being urged to apply for this year’s Coca-Cola Thank You Fund ahead of its July 14 deadline.
This year, €100,000 (approximately £85,000) will be made available in grants to non-profit and community groups for projects that inspire and support young people.
Programmes are sought which align with bridging the divide between education and the workplace; fostering diversity and inclusion among young people; or empowering young people to become the leaders of the future.
The fund recently teamed up with YouthAction NI and campaign ambassador Pete Snodden to host a workshop informing youth and community groups about how to apply for the initiative.
Speaking at the event Pete said: “We’re thrilled with the turn out today. It’s great to see so many groups eager to make a positive change in their communities. The funding from Coca-Cola could mean the world to one of these groups so I am really encouraging people to apply before July 14. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.”
