HR PROFESSIONALS across Northern Ireland are being urged to enter awards which celebrate excellence within the industry here.
The CIPD Northern Ireland Awards 2017 will be presented to teams, individuals and organisations across 10 categories.
The categories for 2017 include the addition of a new award for the Best Change Management Initiative.
Other categories include: Consultant or Consultancy Team of the Year; Health and Wellbeing Award; HR Team of the Year and Best Employee Engagement Strategy.
There are also awards for Outstanding HR Student of the Year and the Talent Management Programme of the Year along with HR Director of the Year and the Most Effective Organisational Learning and Development Strategy.
In addition CIPD NI’s Executive Committee will be presenting the Chair’s Special Achievement Award, which will recognise an individual, team or organisation who has made a significant contribution to the profession in Northern Ireland.
The closing date for all entries, which can be made via the website www.cipdniawards.co.uk, is March 20 and the accolades will be presented at a gala ceremony in Titanic Belfast on May 18 with recruitment specialists Grafton Recruitment as the headline sponsor and Nijobfinder as media partner.
CIPD, the professional association for HR professionals, has more than 3000 members in Northern Ireland. Urging organisations and individuals to enter, CIPD NI Chair, Lynn Carson said the annual awards are ‘a great showcase’ for the work that is done in the HR industry in Northern Ireland.
She added: “It’s important for us to learn from each other and celebrate in each other’s successes. It’s about telling your stories and supporting the industry. The CIPD Northern Ireland Awards have gone from strength to strength over the last five years and we encourage all organisations to enter this year’s awards and play their role in the growth and success of the industry”
