The first recorded distillery in Garrison was in 1798. However, it is rumoured that Angus Scott was distilling moonshine from the local water many years before that. Local folklore also tells that after being caught by the local excise man, Angus emigrated to America where he became a bourbon distilling millionaire. Whisky on Scott’s farm continues this great tradition as we distil to Angus’ secret recipe.
