Murdock Builder's Merchants was originally established in 1982 with the set-up of Newry Building Supplies Ltd on the Rathfriland Road in Newry. After a brief period at this location Newry Building Supplies transferred to a bigger more central location on the Greenbank Industrial Estate in Newry where it remains today.

Murdock Builder's Merchants growth over the last 30 years has been a combination of organic and by acquisition, and we are currently recognised as a leading supplier of building materials and timber in the Irish Market Place. We have 11 Builders Merchants branches plus two timber sites in Ireland, North and South, with plans for continued growth.
