Family-owned Henderson Group are the owners of the SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO, VIVOXTRA and VIVO ESSENTIALS franchises in Northern Ireland and have been distributing food and grocery-related products to the convenience retail sector for over 100 years.

The Group consists of four indigenous companies, each of which operates under the Henderson Group. The Group is one of the largest employers in Northern Ireland with 4800 employees and an annual Group turnover of £1billion+ 

Henderson Wholesale supplies over 400 SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO, VIVOXTRA and VIVO Essentials stores across Northern Ireland from its warehouse in Mallusk and provides support for independent retailers who trade under one of the Henderson Group brands. Henderson Wholesale provides a unique support package to its retail partners. This incorporates: Sales & Marketing, IT Support, Logistics, Human Resources, Retail Services, Training & Development Services, Trading Support, Dedicated Business Development Managers, Central Warehousing and Fresh Foods.

Henderson Retail owns and operates over 102 SPAR and EUROSPAR stores in Northern Ireland. Many of these are petrol forecourt sites, affiliated with the major oil brands. Henderson Retail is one of the top players in the UK independent market and Northern Ireland’s largest independent fuel site operator. The business continues to receive industry recognition for its achievements.

Henderson Foodservice is a leading all Ireland Foodservice distributor selling a total foodservice solution including ambient, chilled, frozen, fresh and non-food products to customers including hotels, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, cafes, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and retail sites. 

Henderson Group Property are specialists in the acquisition and development of retail outlets, particularly petrol forecourts and neighbourhood retail schemes.Henderson Group Property has developed a strong in-house team of professionals who provide a full service from acquisition to project management.
