Right now we’re looking to grow our dynamic team with a highly motivated Business Development Manager who has the determination to succeed in a fast-paced, performance driven environment. As part of our team you’ll be selling world-class products to small and medium-sized enterprises in three main markets: business mobiles, business landlines and business broadband.

An opportunity for a new business sales professional to join a high performing team within one of the UK’s leading telecoms providers. This is a very rewarding role for the right candidate. You will be joining an established team with an abundance of industry expertise and a collaborative team ethic to help support your development.

The majority of your new business leads will be generated by our in-house telesales department. Any new business opportunities acquired will be your responsibility to manage on an on-going basis, ensuring your pipeline is where it needs to be to achieve your monthly sales objectives. We provide a very personal and responsive service to our customer base and you will be required to continue this with the assistance of internal support functions, e.g. operations, billing and finance. You will also be required to drive further sales into your existing customer base through additional service lines. Becoming the face of Yellowcom within your account base will allow you to take ownership and accountability for you own performance, success and remuneration.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers at all levels
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple opportunities
  • Highly organised, with the ability to understand the needs of our customers and match those to our service provisions
  • A strong work ethic with an eagerness to learn
  • Comfortable with numbers and a keen eye for detail
  • Ambitious and money driven
  • Determined with a good work ethic
  • Confident communicating over the phone and face to face
  • Competent driver with a full UK licence
  • Clean and Tidy Appearance
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in direct sales essential. Both B2B and B2C considered.

Training

To support your development, you will undertake extensive on the job training to become a market leading BDM. This will include; Product knowledge, cold-calling, selling and account management.

Salary

£20,000 - £40,000 basic per annum (dependant on experience), OTE of £40,000 - £80,000, pension, company car, mobile phone, iPad, laptop and fuel card.
