Strategic Stock Controller – (Job Ref: 22N/SSCO)
Randox has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual with great attention to detail to join a new team based at our Crumlin, Firfields location. The Stock Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day stock for our COVID processing centres.
Randox now offer free transportation from Antrim Train / Bus station each morning to take staff to our various sites in Antrim and Crumlin. This shuttle will take staff back to the station at the end of the day.
The Role:
• Ensuring accurate stock management and records
• Issuing stock in a timely manner based on stock requests and processing stock movements on SAGE
• Receipt of deliveries and cross-referencing of delivery notes ensuring accuracy
• Labeling stock as per planning and operational requests
• Routinely conducting cycle counts
• Ensuring component/raw materials returns are processed and recorded
• Conducting visual checks, routine maintenance and upkeep of all sectional equipment
• Adherence to company health & safety procedures
• Communication with Stock Control Manager to ensure sufficient stock levels
The Candidate:
Essential:
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language
• Strong numerical and interpersonal skills
• Accurate data recording
• Flexible approach to shift pattern/duties and location of work
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of departmental procedures
• Good computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently using initiative
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to check quality documentation
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Fork truck licence is desirable
• Previous experience in using SAGE system is desirable
• Experience driving a van would also be advantageous
• Excellent housekeeping skills
