Housing Rights is currently seeking to recruit Helpline Support Workers for our busy Housing Advice helpline.

We believe that prevention of homelessness is the best cure. We work tirelessly to keep people in their homes and help them with their housing problems. We believe that everyone should have a home.

Salary Scale: £26,017-£26,575

We are recruiting staff to work on our busy Housing Advice helpline. These posts can suit either full-time or part-time working arrangements, and are likely to be available on both a permanent and temporary basis over the coming year.

As a Helpline Support Worker, you will help us achieve our vision and deliver our strategic objectives through:

  • The provision of specialist, comprehensive, holistic advice and support on the core areas of homelessness, housing debt and housing issues to members of the public and relevant agencies.
  • The provision of an effective support role to housing and debt advice teams.
  • Identifying and making timely, appropriate internal and external referrals.
