  • Omagh and Foyle area – 25 hours per week
  • Northern area – 21 hours per week
  • Southern area – 21 hours per week
  • Belfast and South Eastern area – 28 hours per week

*areas of work broadly follow relevant Health and Social Care Trust geographical areas*

Role: Empowerment Facilitator

Responsible To: Development Manager

Location: Home based in the designated area

Salary: £ FTE: £23, 000 pro rata, see cover letter for actual salary details for each post

At Dementia NI our members, all of whom are living with a diagnosis of dementia, are at the centre of our organisation. Through their dedication and skills, we work to challenge the stigma of a dementia diagnosis and help people with dementia across NI to remain a part of their local community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia NI. You will be part of a professional and positive team, working to support people with dementia to drive positive change. You will work alongside the Development Manager and the Empowerment team to support the delivery of our empowerment work.

Self-motivated and a great team player, you will have the opportunity to enable people living with dementia to live well and positively contribute to the wider community.
