Administrator and Lead Generator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join a well-established company based in Belfast, City Centre.

This is a full-time, Permanent position with a flexible working pattern – temporarily working from home and then working in the office

Working hours: Monday – Friday: From 8.30am-5pm

With a salary of £19-20,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for providing full administrative support.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (including Maths & English)
  • At least 6 months previous experience working in an administrative or sales role
  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels as well as face-to-face

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process all customer documentation from the sales team, ensuring all correct documents are issued
  • Chase validation documents required post sale. Process and validate these documents within set timeframes and if required issue cancellations from this process
  • Handle overflow calls for customer
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Cold-call existing customers to upsell optional extras for existing policies as well as of the other products that the company offers
  • Work towards monthly sales target for both upselling and collecting cross-sale leads
  • Triage inbound telephone calls in peak times and during periods of annual leave
  • Acting under own initiative to solve problems and develop the business
  • Other general administration duties and tasks as required by the company
