The day-to-day

The Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach role is new at Reward, giving you a unique opportunity to influence and shape the role and the way we work. You will have sponsorship from the Senior Leadership Team including the Belfast Site Lead, Technical Director and Product Director. Your time will be split between Agile Coaching and practicing as a Scrum Master.

This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of a truly forward-thinking technology focused organisation. The successful candidate will work in a technical environment with industry defining technologies: Angular 8, .Net Core, docker, Kubernetes, AWS, NodeJS, MVC, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Git to drive a truly agile workplace. But better still, you will play a big part in defining the agile processes within the company.

About You

In the role of Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach at Reward you will be working with people who have varying levels of technical ability who are all working toward a common goal; creating autonomous, self-organising, empowered, and continuously improving teams. We actively reflect on our behaviour and continuously attempt to improve our most important asset – our people, and our way of working. Through the use of retrospectives, workshops, feedback, reflection and many other tools, this is the domain of the scrum master at Reward.

5+ years working as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach within a software development environment. Knowledge of agile start-up is advantageous.

Experience of Agile Coaching and delivering agile training is advantageous.

Familiarity using agile practices to help teams succeed and organisations evolve.

Capable of coaching teams and individuals to achieve an agile mindset

Genuine passion for helping teams and individuals grow.

Ability to work with high-performing teams and challenge them to improve even further.

Energised by working in a fast-moving environment and would enjoy helping shape a growing organisation.

Solid communication skills and demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work with product owners, scrum teams and stakeholders remotely.

Strong senior stakeholders’ management skills.
