Graduate Internship positions throughout Northern Ireland

Get your career off to a great start with our Graduate Internship Programme.

Are you a 2020 / 2021 graduate looking for your first graduate job? The Ulster University Graduate Internship Programme could help you take that important first step on the career ladder.

Securing your first graduate level job can be daunting and the transition from university to employment can be difficult to navigate. Employers are looking for graduates with relevant work experience, demonstrating you’ve already gained broad business awareness and workplace skills. This is where the Graduate Internship Programme can help you.

You will benefit from a 10 week, paid work-based internship with a local employer. You will receive a bursary of £312 per week, and invaluable work experience. Your internship will help you to develop vital transferable skills, build industry networks and get a taste for the real world of work.

Your CV will be further enhanced by achieving a fully funded postgraduate module in Demonstrating your Professional Identity. This recognises that you are able to build a positive reputation, make a difference to an organisation, and demonstrate leadership in the workplace.

Employers want and need well-rounded, experienced graduates who are committed to their ongoing development. Taking part in the Graduate Internship Programme will give you the skills, experience and knowledge to get ahead of the competition.

The Programme supports 2020 and 2021 Graduates of any university who are ordinarily resident and eligible to work in Northern Ireland and haven’t yet secured graduate level employment.

You can benefit from:

  • 10 week internship starting 24th January 2022.
  • Bursary of £312 per week managed by Ulster University.
  • Achievement of a fully funded postgraduate module in Demonstrating your Professional Identity.

30 internships are available with employer partners across industry sectors and locations within Northern Ireland. These opportunities will help you to make a successful transition to the next stage of your career and create a positive contribution to recovery of local business from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
