Recombinant Antibody Scientist

The Role:
We require highly motivated and creative individuals to fulfil challenging research and development roles within our Recombinant Antibodies Research group. The successful candidate will have a role in the research, development and application of recombinant antibodies for use in Randox’s future diagnostic and therapeutic products.
The Candidate:
Essential attributes:
1. BSc in a relevant biomedical or life science subject.
2. Experience in the development of recombinant proteins.
3. Ability to work independently within the context of a multidisciplinary research team.
4. Possess excellent organisational and communication skills (written and oral).
5. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Desirable attributes:
1. PhD in a relevant biomedical or life science subject.
2. Laboratory experience in molecular techniques (RT-PCR, ligation, restriction, RNA extraction and agarose gel electrophoresis).
3. Experience of ELISA techniques.
4. Evidence of publication in internationally recognised peer reviewed journals.
5. Presentations at national and international conferences
