Salary: SCP 38 – 41, currently £41,881 - £44,863 gross per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: 37 per week, Permanent

Established in 1978 and working with our partners in government, we have transformed affordable housing across Northern Ireland. Our mission is to build on the 27,000 affordable homes we have already provided through Co-Ownership and also develop new and innovative products in response to the changing demands within the market as a result of economic changes.

This role sits within the ICT/Digital team and reports directly to the Head of ICT. You will undertake a key role in the software development lifecycle from brief through to design, develop, test and release/implementation of software.

Co-Ownership is working through a programme of digital transformation to deliver an enhanced customer journey through the provision of services that are more accurate, faster and intuitive to use and you will play a key role in this Change programme.

Essential Criteria:

  • A third level qualification in a relevant subject such as ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing and Information Technology, Business Information Technology PLUS A minimum of 3 years’ extensive experience in the development of software using RPG ILE, RPG Free. A minimum of 3 years’ extensive experience in an AS/400 operating system with experience of OS/400, IBMi. A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing code use HTML, javascript, jquery and SQL. Previous experience in project implementation. OR (In lieu of a 3rd level qualification, the Association will seek a minimum of 5 years extensive experience in all of the above).
  • Previous experience of IceBreak, SiteMule.
    Previous experience of AGILE Development.
  • Previous experience of Ajax and Node.js
