Customer Service Engineering Team Leader - (Job Ref: 20N/LTSC)
Randox Laboratories is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Engineer Team Leader to support our expanding operations. The role will lead the HQ and UK Customer Service Engineering team. This team are involved in the installation, commissioning and set-up of equipment, routine servicing and preventative maintenance of equipment, emergency breakdown repair of equipment and provision of technical support by telephone and e-mail to Randox customers. Having applied LIMs experience is an advantage for this role.
The successful candidate will be based from the company HQ but regular international travel will be required.
The Role:
• Delivering best in class service support on Randox instruments and related PCR and molecular 3rd party equipment at internal Randox and UK & Ireland customer sites
• Be hands on in attending repairs and issues
• Being a point of contact person for on-site and customer escalations
• Development of procedures and support associated with new products
• Installation, commissioning and set-up of analyser equipment
• Emergency breakdown repair of analysers within Randox and in the field
• Providing technical support for analyser equipment
• Training and support of Randox and distributor personnel in analyser servicing procedures
Your Profile:
Essential
• Have a minimum of a 2:1 in Biomedical Engineering or related subject.
• Highly motivated with the ability to develop a team of Customer Service Engineers
• Willingness to travel.
• Results driven to maximise performance
• Organisation skills in managing paperwork
• Ability to work effectively with others to establish and to maintain good working relationships with internal departments and customers.
• Flexible and able to travel worldwide at short notice
• Fluent English (speaking & writing).
• A valid UK driver’s licence.
Desirable
• Applied LIMs experience is an advantage
