Our Client is an impressive, well established employer with multiple sites across Ireland.  Due to continued success, our Client wishes to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner.  This is a permanent HR Business Partner job, reporting to the Group HR Manager, working in a fast paced, close-knit team.  The successful HR Business Partner will support and advice business managers and a headcount of 230 +.  This is a diverse role offering strong operational HR exposure as well as interesting projects and proactive initiatives.  This is a challenging, fast paced business so the HR Business Partner must be highly commercial, energised and solutions focused. 

The Role:

  • Develop and promote the wellbeing agenda
  • Implement a wellbeing calendar
  • Plan and manage the company benefits communications and events
  • Manage the business secondment programmes
  • Manage the recruitment processes
  • Support the business in the development of individual and team objectives within the performance review framework
  • Succession planning through talent mapping and development
  • Learning & development – improve leadership ability through internal and external training
  • Ensure appropriate induction and probationary programmes are in place
  • Drive the E-Learning platform
  • Oversee long term absence
  • Manage all employee data
  • Work with the HR administrator to support new starter and leaver processes
  • Coordinate exit interviews
  • Ensure people processes such as performance reviews, pay reviews etc are carried out
  • Drive engagement activities
  • Build on the Company Values programme
  • Ensure performance management is followed, and under performance is dealt with
  • Employee survey
  • Lead change management programmes

The Person:

  • 3rd level qualification
  • CIPD qualified
  • Minimum of 5 + years senior HR generalist/business partner/manager experience
  • Experience working within a fast paced, commercial business eg FMCG, manufacturing, production, distribution, advantageous
  • Strong employment legislation knowledge
  • Ability to effectively influence stakeholders and challenge ways of thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, driven and commercial
