Purpose of the job:

You will be providing efficient and accurate support to the HR department.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have at least 2 years HR experience
  • Previous administration experience
  • CIPD Membership or working towards
  • Computer literate with proven experience of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with all at different levels
  • Ability to manage a busy workload
  • Work within a team or on your own initiative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on various projects as defined by the company or the Human Resources Manager
  • Supporting the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures by taking notes and when instructed interviewing employees
  • Supporting the maintenance of the following:

- Ethical Trading Framework

- External and Internal audits

- KPI and key information gathering

  • Present to internal and external auditors on behalf of HR
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Inputting personnel/payroll information on time and attendance system ensuring that the information is maintained and up to date
  • Supporting and advising the recruitment process and assisting with Interviews when required
  • Provide support, by the way of recruitment letters, disciplinary letters, probationary period letters etc.
  • Ensuring all Paperwork is in place for all employees, including new starters etc. Contracts, Job descriptions
  • Ensure that exit interviews are completed for all leavers, compiling the information for analysis
  • Complete employment references
  • Lead by example and maintain an appropriate behavioural standard
