HNH Human Capital are working for a Global professional law firm who are seeking to recruit in an experienced AML / KYC Analyst Risk Compliance Due Diligence into their New Business Intake team.
Your new role
As an AML / KYC analyst, your main responsibilities will include being accountable for the efficiency and operations of the client inception process. You will process partner requests when accepting new matters as well as existing client matters, and perform Conflict of Interest checks, and full AML / KYC / CDD investigations. The role will require you to collaborate with the Partners / Legal Advisers / PAs within the Practice Groups to ensure accurate information about clients and matters are obtained, recorded and filled within the appropriate compliance framework. You will monitor lawyers activities daily (including email searches and checks)to ensure all regulatory and legal requirements are met and internal procedures are complied with. You will manage all escalations, ensuring any relevant issues are presented clearly and succinctly for internal compliance review or will facilitate the resolution of business conflict issues in consultation with the appropriate partners/ Senior lawyers. Whilst performing these functions, you will of course, ensure all team and practice group SLAs are met, ensuring you are committed to continually improving service standards. Your skills and experience will be well utilised in implementing process improvements that enhance the client experience, reduces the company risk profile and simultaneously enhances operational efficiency.
What you can offer?
A degree educated graduate with a minimum of 2.2 in business , finance or legal related degree is preferred. You must have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, an ability to work well under pressure and to manage conflicting deadlines at speed. Any experience you have of working in a law firm, risk and compliance or a financial services environment is beneficial (preferred also). Flexibility regarding working hours may be an advantage.

You will be offered a leading market rate salary together with Health care benefit and premium payment bonuses where applicable. there is a possibility that the role may be extended beyond the initial 12M contractual period subject to performance and business needs.
