Maintenance Engineer job on Monday to Friday rotating shift (Mornings and afternoons) paying £15 per hour plus overtime. Your new role
This is a mechanical maintenance engineer job requiring mechanical skills in production maintenance. You will work Monday to Friday with mornings week 1 and afternoons on week 2 and the hourly rate is £15 per hour which is currently under review to increase. You will be expected to assist with weekend overtime and everyone takes a turn to occasionally cover the holidays. The plant is always receiving investment, you will be astounded as to the automation and technology they have and you will be trained on installation and maintenance of the kit.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong mechanical aptitude and welding skills are essential for the role. Not adverse to change, you will help with planning the future improvements of the factory and at the factory tour stage of the interview you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the technology available. A positive approach to helping everyone in the maintenance team is essential as they enjoy a strong team spirit. Flexible to work some Saturday overtime is essential.
