Housing Rights is a charity providing advice, advocacy and representation services to people who are homeless or in housing need throughout Northern Ireland.
We believe that prevention of homelessness is the best cure. We work tirelessly to keep people in their homes and help them with their housing problems. We believe that everyone should have a home.
Our mission is to improve lives by tackling homelessness and housing problems in Northern Ireland. In addition to our advice and advocacy work, we undertake training, information and policy work to try to improve conditions for those living in poor, unaffordable or unsustainable housing.
WELFARE REFORM: POLICY OFFICER
Salary Scale £26,962 - £27,819
This post is for 37 hours per week, to the 31st March 2020.
The person appointed will work within the Policy and Practice Team to evidence and address the impact of Welfare Reform on housing and homelessness policy and practice in Northern Ireland. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of policy and public affairs work.
