We require a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Support Scientist to work within our Applications Department. The candidate will troubleshoot application based technical queries in accordance to company procedures. They will attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills for the role.
This is an HQ based position, which will require frequent international travel to customer sites for applications and training.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Qualified to degree level in a Biological Science Subject
• Extensive experience in the use of automated clinical chemistry analysers
• A knowledge of the principles of clinical chemistry and immunoanalysis, including the use of calibrators and QC materials.
• Experience of preparing and updating Instructions for Use documentation or Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• The ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and confidence with dealing with customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in customer relations
• Willingness to travel
• Previous experience in the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation would be highly desirable.
