Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Belfast is looking for a Personal Secretary to join their team.
Duration: 6 months
Rate of pay: £13.81 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Belfast
Main duties will involve:
• Diary management– accurately organising and monitoring the Directors diary, prioritising and actioning diary commitments
• Managing and monitoring mailboxes, including the director’s mailbox
• Issuing reminders to senior management regarding outstanding responses
• Co-ordinating inputs and drafting co-ordinated responses
• Circulating communication within the division and or departments
• Meeting preparations and secretaryship
• General secretariat duties to support the Director of People and Organisational Development
Key skills required include:
• Level 2 diploma in Secretarial Administration or BTEC in Level 2 Extended Certificate in Business Administration
• Previous secretarial experience
• Previous administrative experience
• Organisational skills
• Effective communication skills both written and oral
• Effective time management Essential Criteria:
* At least two years’ experience in a similar role at Director / Chief Executive level.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft office and online meeting platforms such as Microsoft teams.
* Excellent organisational skills including ability to work at pace, independently and under own initiative.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
