Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs Executive

Salary starting £34,524 per annum plus attractive pension

Invest Northern Ireland is looking for a Stakeholder Engagement and Public Affairs Executive to join its Marketing and Communications Team.

The role

The Stakeholder Engagement and Public Affairs Executive will be responsible for fostering strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders to support the delivery of Invest NI’s business strategy and stakeholder engagement plans.

You will work alongside Invest NI’s Regional Offices and key divisions to understand current stakeholder relationships and be responsible for developing and delivering an impactful programme of engagement activity to increase awareness of the work of Invest NI.

With a strong understanding of Northern Ireland’s political landscape at both a NI Executive and Council level, you will proactively monitor the external environment and be aware of the implications of emerging political and economic issues on Invest NI activity and apply this information to engagement and communications plans.

The candidate

You will have recent experience of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of key stakeholder groups, with the ability to identify and fully understand stakeholder priorities and issues.

As a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, you will be able to draft high quality and engaging content for a range of formats and tailor messages to diverse audiences.
