The Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission (NIJAC) is responsible for the recruitment and selection of members of the Judiciary in respect of over 1000 judicial offices across Northern Ireland. NIJAC is inviting applications for the following staff position.

Director of Appointments and Engagement

Ref: DAE2024-1

Salary Range: £52,578 - £56,237 (Under review)

The Director will lead in the development and delivery of an efficient and professional recruitment and selection service for the judiciary and will provide expert guidance to the CEO and Commissioners. He/she will also lead on engagement with a broad range of stakeholders as part of NIJAC's diversity and outreach activities. This post is a key member of the Senior leadership Team, and will make a vital contribution to strategy, policy, and governance across the organisation.

Applicants must have:

1. Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; AND

2. At least 5 years' experience across both recruitment and diversity functions, including team leadership. AND

3. Experience of drafting and presenting papers to Senior Management Team and Board.
