Operational Development Manager - Down & Lisburn Federations

Salary: £40,057 - £45,839 per annum plus HSC pension.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Based: Based 1 Bradford Court, Galwally, Belfast, BT8 6RB but with work throughout the Down and Lisburn Federation Localities.
Whilst this role is designated office based, currently work is carried out through a mix of remote and office working, and it is anticipated that this flexible hybrid working approach will continue subject to business need.
Based within the Federation Support Unit (FSU), the Operational Development Manager will provide managerial support to the Down & Lisburn Federations. They will be the first point of contact for the local GP practices within the Federation areas.
Down Federation has an operational multi-disciplinary team (MDT), this is a partnership project undertaken with the South East Health and Social Care Trust. The postholder will be responsible for further developing this service, to improve patient experience.

1.University degree or recognised management qualification or equivalent high qualification
at least 3 years’ recent experience in the development and management of services or contracts in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
At least five years recent experience in the development and management of services or contracts in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
2.Proven extensive experience of setting and monitoring budgets and spend with responsibility for ensuring effective financial reporting
3.Experience in delivering objectives which have led to service or business improvements
4.IT literate and competent with Microsoft Office packages.
5.The successful candidate must hold a full current driving license (valid in the UK) and have access to a car at the closing date or have ** access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to carry out the duties of the post in full.
