Associates (Data Science and Analytics) – SIB (Strategic Investment Board)

SIB are looking to recruit a number of associate roles to support the Data Analytics Research & Exploitation Unit (DARE).

Successful candidates will work alongside SIB’s experienced data scientists to help deliver innovative analytics solutions for clients across the Northern Ireland public sector.

Applicants must have at least ten years’ experience working in the area of data analysis or in an applied IT related role – five years of which must be at a leadership level.

Programme Development Manager – Translink

Translink are looking to recruit a programme development manager to manage the forward planning process for the capital portfolio.

The successful applicant will be involved in strategic planning, resource planning, delivery strategy, business case development, key project initiation, risk and issue management and benefits realisation.

Applicants must have a degree level qualification in a construction related discipline, experience in managing budgets for major projects and experience in planning and developing major construction programmes/projects through early stage development.

Administrative Officer (Compliance) – Ards & North Down Borough Council

Ards & North Down Borough Council are hiring an administrative officer to manage the administrative function of the section, to assist the compliance officers and to act as a liaison point in dealings with other departments within the Council and with the public.

Applicants must have two A-Levels or equivalent, two years’ relevant experience in compliance issues and must have experience of using mail merge and databases.

Personal Assistant to the Principal – Friends’ School Lisburn

Friends’ School Lisburn are hiring a PA who will be responsible for the principal’s diary management, the maintenance of administrative systems and filing, general secretarial and administrative duties, and assisting the principal in the efficient running of the school. 

Applicants must have a minimum of seven GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English and Maths, possess excellent people and organisational skills, be able to work autonomously and be proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office programmes.

Chief Allied Health Professional (Grade 6) – Northern Ireland Civil Service

The Department of Health are seeking a chief allied health professional to provide advice to the minister, permanent secretary, senior policy and professional colleagues on strategic and policy direction and operational issues.

Applicants must have a professional AHP qualification,  hold or be entitled to hold, full registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have at least three years’ senior management or senior professional experience gained within the last five years in a professional AHP role within the health and social care sector.

General Maintenance Operative – National Museums NI

National Museums NI are hiring a general maintenance operative responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of the Ulster Folk Museum and Ulster Transport Museum estate including all buildings and grounds.

Applicants must have a minimum of two GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent), six months’ previous practical experience in general construction labouring, general knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and issues and must hold a current driving licence.

Support Assistants – Triangle Housing Association

Triangle are seeking support assistants (supported living) to work with service users and staff to deliver quality personal care and housing support services to individuals with a learning disability/challenging behaviour.

Applicants do not need any previous experience in this field or qualifications. However, applicants must be willing to undertake QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care on appointment and must be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) or become registered on appointment.

CCEA are seeking a marketing executive who will be involved in the delivery of a range of functions within the Marketing & Communications Team in support of CCEA’s Education Services, including the implementation of marketing and communication plans, promotional campaigns and market analysis.

Applicants must hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline, have two years’ experience of working in a marketing, events or communications environment and experience in delivering marketing and/or communication plans. This post is offered on a fixed term contract for six months.

Deputy Principal (Project Manager) – Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute Northern Ireland (AFBI)

AFBI is a leading provider of scientific research and services to government, non-governmental organisations and commercial companies.

The Project Manager will be part of a team leading an EU-funded collaborative research programme to develop cross-border co-operation capacity for the monitoring and management of marine protected areas and species in the region.

Applicants must at least three years’ experience of project management in a scientific or business context, at least one year experience of financial reporting within an organisation, and experience of stakeholder engagement and writing reports for funders.

Transport Manager – Mid & East Antrim Borough Council

Mid & East Antrim Borough Council are seeking a transport manager who will be responsible to the Waste Operations Manager for the delivery of a safe, efficient and effective Fleet Management function and to ensure the delivery of the service in line with legislation and budget targets.

Applicants must have a degree or post graduate qualification and at least two years’ experience in a management position in a large and diverse fleet maintenance environment. Consideration will also be given to applicants who do not possess the educational qualifications but who have four years’ experience instead of two.
