Online enrolment open for September courses at SERC

5th August 2020

There is still time to get a place on a Higher Education Course at South Eastern Regional College but students are being urged to get online and apply as soon as possible.

Heather McKee, Director of Strategic Planning, Quality and Support said: “We look forward to welcoming students to the College in September but in line with Government advice, the enrolment process will be a little different this year.”

She added: “Any post A-level student wishing to enrol on a higher education course at SERC, including Degree, Foundation Degree, HND, HNC or Higher-Level Apprenticeship, must apply online at serc.ac.uk. All applicants will receive an enrolment appointment which they need to accept in advance and then attend their chosen campus on the date and time allocated.  A parent or guardian may attend but we ask that this is limited to one person.”

Students need to bring evidence of their results and GCSE certificates to their appointment when they will meet course lecturing staff and, provided they meet the entry requirements, they will then be enrolled on their course.

Heather concluded: “It is not too late to apply for higher education courses commencing September and I encourage anyone wishing to study close to home to visit our website and apply now.  We also have a series of Higher Education webinars available on our website which gives potential students an insight to each programme from the lecturing team involved.”

Students should not attend the Enrolment Days without an appointment. The College will have appropriate PPE in place for students attending appointments. Social distancing measures are in place as well as hand sanitising stations across the campus.

Apply now for courses commencing September 2020, for more information visit SERC.
