Applications are now open for the Eastside Awards!
The Eastside Awards, in partnership with George Best Belfast City Airport, will celebrate the achievements of the businesses and people at the heart of East Belfast.
Now in their fourth year, entry for the non-profit awards are open until 25th October with categories including the Eastside Award for Employer of the Year and the Eastside Award for Volunteer of the Year.
Jonathan McAlpin of East Belfast Enterprise was behind the original Eastside Awards concept and is Chair of the organising committee. Launching this year’s awards he said: “I’m immensely proud of the impact that the Eastside Awards has achieved across the greater East Belfast community in four short years. I’m honoured to be involved in recognising everything that is the best about East Belfast. From celebrating the achievements of our young people to those who are contributing to the economic impact of the area, to inspirational residents who volunteer their time to helping others and those who entertain or who are committed to our next generation.
“Last year we had a record number of entries and the Stormont Hotel was at capacity for our awards ceremony and I know that with momentum building and new categories added, this year will be another record breaking year for the Eastside Awards.”

The awards take place on 24th January 2020 in Hastings Stormont Hotel, Belfast.
