Commenting on this year’s entrants Queen’s domestic student recruitment manager, Anthony McGrath said: “The standard was exceptionally high this year and everyone who was nominated and progressed to our selection day can be very proud of their achievements. We are delighted with our five winners who will now become ambassadors for the university and I know they will represent us with pride.

“Each scholar comes from a different background with differing outlooks on their future but they all know that Queen’s is the gateway to their long term success. We look forward to seeing their progression and know that their recent successes can be a springboard to their longer term goals.”
