Ards & North Down Borough Council – Compliance Officer Lands

A Compliance Officer is needed to provide a range of professional services in relation to the transfer, letting, disposal and acquisition of land across the Council. The post holder will develop, implement, monitor and review standards of performance, budgets, targets, policies and systems of work, while providing a research and advisory function in relation to the Council’s land and property portfolio. It is essential applicants hold a relevant third level qualification in law, planning or business and have two years’ experience dealing in land and/or property issues.

Location: Bangor

Salary:  £32,234 – £34,728 per annum

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council – Civic Events Co-ordinator

The Civic Events Co-ordinator will assist with delivering the civic events programme, including effective co-ordination, planning, organisation, marketing and administration and undertaking any research necessary for events under the direction of senior officers. The successful candidate will also be required to assist the Corporate Events team on an ad hoc basis and undertake administrative duties when required. Applicants must possess a third level qualification and have at least two years’ experience in the field of events planning and delivery.

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council – Energy Officer

The Energy Officer will be responsible to the Estates Manager within the Estates Services Section of the Assets Unit for ensuring that the council’s estate meets the necessary carbon, energy, regulatory and related statutory compliance requirements. The recruit will ensure efficient and effective carbon, energy and utility management across the council estate, implementing energy related recommendations contained within the council’s estate strategy. It is essential applicants have two A Levels (grade A-C), NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification and a minimum of three years’ experience in a comprehensive energy management role.

Salary: £27,741 – £29,577 per annum

Belfast City Council – Environmental Noise Officer

The Environmental Noise Officer will be responsible for the coordination of advice and a consistent approach to responses on noise and environmental impact to internal and external planning applications and the provision of advice to the council on environmental noise matters. The recruit will assist with the development and implementation of noise policies and strategies. Applicants must have a third level qualification in an acoustics, engineering or environmental discipline or equivalent and be a full, current member of the Institute of Acoustics or the Association of Noise Consultants.

Salary: £35,745 – £38,890 per annum

Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council – Fleet Manager

A Fleet Manager is sought-after to hold and have overall responsibility for the Council’s “Operator’s Licence”, ensuring that the Council meets the requirements of the Licence and all relevant legislation and to manage all aspects of the Council’s Fleet Services. Applicants must have a current Certificate of Professional Competence National Road Haulage, a third level qualification in a relevant discipline and three years’ relevant experience in a fleet maintenance and management environment.

Location: Craigavon

Salary: £41,881 – £44,863 per annum
