Apprenticeship Corner – Electronics industry

17th September 2013

Employers in the consumer electrical and electronics industry will soon be able to access new appliance repair apprenticeships for staff following SummitSkills’ development of the Consumer Electrical and electronic Products (CEEP) apprenticeship framework.
Developed in conjunction with City & Guilds and the Household Electrical and Electronic Servicing Training Forum (HEEST), the frameworks will be for appliance repair apprentices working in both the white and brown goods sectors, and include delivery, installation and repair.
There will be six different qualifications across Level 2 and 3, which sit within two frameworks at intermediate and advanced level.
