SERC have launched a new volunteer programme. The success of this programme is built around partnerships within the community. SERC collaborate with Volunteer Now, IFA, Simon Community, Citizen Advice and other key organisations to identify, promote and recommend volunteering opportunities to all SERC students.
Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager, Olivia Kennedy said: “The volunteer programme has many benefits for SERC students, it is a tool for personal development, it will assist in influencing career choices and open up a range of exciting opportunities. In partnership with Volunteer Now, we aim to guide students to find the right volunteering assignments and support them through the process’’.
