SOUTH Eastern Regional College (SERC) students and staff joined forces with international development charity Fields of Life to host an African-themed charity night.
The purpose was to raise awareness and vital funds to help build a new purpose-built vocational training institute in Northern Uganda.
The fun-filled African themed evening, Africa Rising, opened by Peter Corry,featured live music.
The charity and the college launched their ‘Upskilling Uganda’ project in June which aims to change thousands of young lives in rural Africa through the development of a new vocational training institute in Northern Uganda.
