Bowling Alley Creates 32 Jobs

7th July 2015

MORE than 30 new jobs are to be created with the opening of a new leisure facility in Lisburn.

Lisburn Bowl — which has been developed in a £2.5m investment supported by Ulster Bank — will include an 18-lane bowling alley, games areas, and a food and drink facility, situated at Lisburn Leisure Park. The development has created a total of 32 new positions.

Joe Tumelty of Lisburn Bowl Limited believes that the new facility will be an excellent complement to the leisure park’s existing tenants.

“Lisburn Leisure Park is one of Northern Ireland’s most popular leisure facilities, and an 18-lane bowling alley will add another important dimension to the offering and attract even more visitors,” he said. “We’ve been working on the project for three years and would like to thank Ulster Bank for their support and Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council for their cooperation, particularly the Corporate and Leisure Services departments, and a number of councillors who helped the project.”
