BIFM Awards Shortlist Revealed

BIFM AWARDS SHORTLIST REVEALED

Corporate innovation and individual excellence will be recongised this month at the forthcoming BIFM Ireland Region Facilities Management Recognition Awards.

The shortlist for the prestigious awards which showcase some of the best professionals operating in one of the fastest growing professions in our economy was revealed today, ahead of the 18th annual BIFM Ireland conference on Friday 14th November, Titanic Belfast.

Entries for the awards were judged by a panel of independent industry and academic experts from across the UK and Ireland, who deliberated long and hard due to the high calibre of the entries submitted from across Ireland.

Speaking about the awards, Jacqueline Byrne, BIFM Committee Member said, “Our goal at BIFM is to promote excellence in facilities management for the benefit of practitioners, the economy and society and these awards showcase that excellence from our members. The standard this year was higher than ever and we must thank all who entered, by being passionate and proud about their work and sharing it with others we can ensure that the bar is raised and we deliver excellence across the profession.”

Winners will be announced on the day, and will be recognised for their significant contribution to the development of the FM industry in Ireland.

FM Team of the Year

FM Project of the Year
BS Holdings for “Going Green in Charles Hurst”
H&J Martin “National Museums NI (NMNI)”

The judging panel was made up of Gareth Tancred, CEO BIFM, Professor George Heaney, and Professor of Built Environment at University of Ulster Jordanstown, Rebekah Lyons, CEO Portobello Institute and Liz Kentish, The FM Coach.
