Aim Higher At Belfast MET

18th August 2014

ALL COURSES DESIGNED WITH FUTURE EMPLOYMENT IN MIND

BELFAST Metropolitan college offers courses designed specifically
with jobs in mind.

It works closely with employers — from the largest international companies right through to the smallest of local businesses — in matching what they need with what the students can deliver.

Studying at Belfast Met can give you the skills you need to take up jobs in new and emerging sectors of the economy; including IT, Advanced Engineering, Renewables and Financial Services to name but a few. Its foundation degrees and exciting new programme of higher level apprenticeships offer an alternative route to university and far beyond.

Employers help shape the content of many of the programmes and the college is constantly reviewing and refreshing the curriculum to ensure it keeps pace with existing demand and successfully anticipates what’s going to be needed further down the line.

With over 30,000 students, including full-time learners and those undertaking parttime professional development programmes, Belfast Met is the largest college in Northern Ireland. Modern, award winning campuses span the city — from the £44 million Titanic Quarter campus in the east, to an innovative, new £18 million e3 building in the west.

A spokesperson for the college said: “This is an exciting time for Belfast Met as we continue to forge ahead in delivering a vocationally and academically relevant curriculum. We look forward to welcoming a fresh influx of students as the new term begins and hope that you will consider joining us.”
