Grace has recently joined Employers For Childcare Marketing Department on a marketing placement.
This year she graduated from Queens University Belfast with a degree in Business Management, in which she completed various marketing modules. Grace is keen to increase her experience in the marketing and business world and therefore applied to undergo a placement in the charity. She felt what better way to learn by also contributing to the community, through the work of a charity.
Grace has been involved in a variety of projects that have an impact on each of the arms of the Group including Solutions, Vouchers and the charity itself which have included research projects, writing news pieces for the website and social media campaigns. This has given her a taste for the diverse aspects involved in a marketing role.
Grace said; ‘I am very grateful to Employers For Childcare for giving me the opportunity to work within the marketing department and gain invaluable experience and skills which I hope will further my development in a marketing career. The staff have been extremely welcoming, friendly and supportive and have done everything they can to make me feel comfortable. I am really enjoying seeing much of the theory I studied at university coming to life and I am learning a lot from my experience.”
