Spence & Partners (Spence) was established in 2000 and is a privately owned UK firm of actuaries, pension consultants, pension scheme IT specialists and administrators and is part of an integrated group of companies that includes Dalriada Trustees Limited (Dalriada) a leading independent trustee.  With offices in, Belfast, Glasgow, London and Dublin, this services clients throughout the UK and Ireland.

Since our inception we have had a particular focus on advising and on managing final salary pension schemes at varying stages of their lives including on-going schemes, in the process of winding up and transition to the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) and Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS).

In 2011, The Pensions Hosting Company Limited was established as an IT software business developing and licensing an integrated pensions administration and actuarial software application called Mantle.

The business is based on a culture which aims to provide all of our clients with a high-quality professional service through strong personal relationships and innovative tailored solutions. Our own values can be summarised as “be professional, be courteous but above all be yourself” to ensure we develop long-term relationships with our clients and our staff.
