Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Our client is an international electronic engineering and manufacturing organisation with a customer base across the globe.  The organisation prides itself on remaining at the forefront of its field and invests heavily in product upgrades and R&D into next generation products.

The Belfast site co-ordinates a range of design / manufacturing, sales and customer support activities and there is an immediate requirement for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join the team.

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for specification, design, test and documentation of electronic circuits, system design, selection of components, and the specification and development of programmable logic code.

The role will suit candidates with a degree in Electronic Engineering combined with relevant experience in hardware development.

Knowledge of all phases of hardware development including product feature definition, design, layout, component selection, regulatory, etc is also necessary.
