We are currently seeking Distribution Operators  for our client, Almac, based in Craigavon. These are temporary ongong position


The Role

The post holder will be responsible for the effective handling and picking of Distribution, Project and Ancillary shipping requests throughout the distribution process. 

The post holder will:

• Ensure distribution facilities are clean and clear according to the appropriate SOP
• All distribution activities must be completed in accordance with approved documentation to support each distribution protocol
• Organise layout of distribution operation to ensure efficient and secure processing
• Execute shipping orders adhering to instructions as detailed in the relevant distribution instructions and SOPs
• Ensure correct picking of material for distribution, project and ancillary shipping requests
• Perform and maintain accurate computer transactions in line with distribution and material control systems
• Undertake additional duties or specific projects designed by superiors
• Inspect and monitor quality of processed materials for Despatch
• Complete the shipping information on Clinical Services shipping module
• Complete all documentation in compliance with the principles of cGMP, Clinical Services SOPs and the distribution instructions

 

The Person

Candidates must have: 

• 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English Language at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Previous distribution experience - at least 2 years recently.
• Previous dispatch/good in/out experience
• Previous experience with computer systems

Candidates who do not have specific factory distribution experience will not be considered-this must be made clear on your cv in detail
